Ashley Jones
Ashley Aubra Jones is an American actress from the United States. Her most well-known roles include soap opera roles, including Megan Dennison (The Young and the Restless) as well as Bridget Forrester (The Bold and the Beautiful). In addition, she was Daphne on True Blood, the HBO drama True Blood in its second season. Ashley Jones graduated in 1997 with a degree of Bachelor of Human Learning K-8 from the University of Tennessee at Martin. Her first teaching job was in Maury County. There, she taught Reading to kindergarten and 1st grades. Brent Jones was her UT Martin fan. They moved from there to Thompsons Station. In the Thompsons Station, she started teaching fourth grade in Bethesda Elementary. Between 1999 and 2000 she was able to keep teaching while earning her Masters of Instruction from Trevecca Nazarene University. In 2000, she retired from teaching following the arrival of their youngest son Baylor. Ashley was a 15-year volunteer for the community, her church and her children. Ashley has been a leader for a long time for the Preschool Ministry as well as the Student Ministry of Thompson Station Church. As Ashley was home with her children they spent three years in homeschooling. In their time of homeschooling, they attended a family school class in which Ashley was also a teacher of History in Kindergarten and 1st grade. God taught her family that although she enjoyed doing homeschooling and spending time with them but it was the time to send Ashley back to the classroom. Brent and Ashley are parents to five children. Silas and Eliza as well as Cruz all attend GCA. Baylor is a GCA graduate plays baseball for the University of Tennessee Martin. Callan, a GCA graduate, also goes to Western Kentucky University. They are a busy family that enjoys hunting fishing and supporting each other in their favourite sports and games.
